Leader:
Heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the Lord of Hosts and the God of Armies—we come before Your throne of grace with humble and contrite hearts on this 250th anniversary of the Continental Congress’s call to humiliation, fasting, and prayer.
Congregation:
We acknowledge that You alone are God, and we are Your people, called by Your name.
Leader:
You have been gracious to this nation from its birth. You guided our founders, protected our forefathers, and granted us liberty and abundance beyond measure. Yet we have strayed. Like ancient Israel, we have forgotten the God who made us.
All Together:
Forgive us, Lord.
Prayer of Confession:
We confess and bewail our manifold sins and transgressions as a nation and as Your Church:

We have turned from Your Word and exalted human wisdom above Yours.
We have shed innocent blood and called evil good and good evil.
We have allowed greed, immorality, and idolatry to rule in our hearts and halls of government.
We have compromised truth for comfort and divided what You called to be one.
We have grown proud, self-sufficient, and prayerless, trusting in our own strength rather than in You.

Specific Confession for Our Leaders and Institutions:
Father, many of our government leaders—elected and appointed, legislators and judges—have opened themselves up to extortion and bribery. They have enacted laws and regulations to their own benefit and have rejected righteousness and truth. They have made it possible for elections to be stolen. Father, forgive our nation of its sins. Remove the wicked and unrepentant from authority and power.
Many of our corporations have exalted wickedness and rejected righteousness and truth. Punish the wicked and unrepentant and transfer their wealth and influence to the righteous.
Many of our religious leaders have moved away from what grace empowers. They have led their churches away from what is good. Remove the wicked and unrepentant from their place of influence in the Church.
Through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, we plead for pardon and forgiveness. Wash us with Your blood, cleanse our land, and restore us by Your mercy.
Leader:
Holy Spirit, search our hearts. Reveal every hidden sin, every compromise, every area where we have grieved or quenched You.
Silent Pause (for personal and corporate repentance)
All Together:
We humble ourselves before You. We turn from our wicked ways. We seek Your face with all our hearts.
Petition for Healing & Rededication:
Righteous Father, hear from heaven. Forgive our sin. Heal our land.
Revive Your Church with fresh fire and power.
Raise up righteous leaders who fear You and walk in Your ways.
Unite Your people across this nation in Spirit and truth.
Pour out Your Spirit on our sons and daughters, on the young and the old.
Let the next 250 years of America be marked by greater glory, greater harvest, and greater obedience than the first.
We rededicate ourselves and our nation to You this day. We declare that we are “One Nation Under God,” not by our merit, but by Your sovereign grace. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in America as it is in heaven.
Closing in Unity:
All glory, honor, and praise belong to You alone—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We ask these things through the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

This church is a phenomenal place to worship!
Pastor Clay and Pastor Mark deliver the Word and fed us through songs, praise and their prepared Bible messages.
My husband and I plan on going back every other month, with our friends, as we live 3/4 hours away.
Our trip will be worth every mile till we get there again!
May blessings continue to flow in and out of this church!
In the sweet name of Jesus,
Denise and Brad Gorsline
